Separation Anxiety
Even when you're at home, it's important that your dog spends some time away from you. Otherwise she can develop separation anxiety when she's left alone. The crate is a great place for her to get some quality alone-time. WoofGang can guide you in helping your dog get more comfortable when she's without you.
It's Puzzling!
Interactive puzzle toys are a great way to occupy an active, "busy" dog. The Kong is the cadillac of puzzle toys, but
there are others you can add to her repertoire...
Try the Tricky Treat Ball, the Buster Cube, and the Busy Buddy
for a little variety.
Nutrition Note
Hyper, unfocused, out-of-control dogs may have an extremely high level of
cereal foods such as wheat, corn, or corn meal.
As a test, soak the food in water for 15 minutes; if it swells in size and gets mushy, it's mostly cereal!

WoofGang offers private sessions in training and behavior modification. For basic relationship training,
purchase WoofGang's package of 4 weekly hour-long sessions. For behavior modification,
our trainer, Laura Garber, CPDT,
may suggest either a single session or a package of 2 sessions.
WoofGang wants to help you achieve a loving human/canine woof-gang!
To this end, we offer pre-adoption behavior evaluations of puppies and adult dogs.
And as an approved AKC CGC Evaluator, Laura can administer Canine Good Citizen® testing.
WoofGang serves the New York City metropolitan area (including Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens), along with northern NJ (including Hudson, Bergen, Essex and Union counties).
Pricing for all services varies based on location.
WoofGang partners with Alex's Pet Care, which offers dog walking and pet boarding and care services. A cohesive dog training/walking/ socialization protocol can be established by WoofGang for clients whose dogs are in their care.
